A working day, end to end
- A customer asks you to price some work. You start a quote and add a line for each thing they asked for — 5,000 A5 flyers, 500 business cards, 1,000 letterheads.
- For anything you do not do in-house, PayperWhale asks your subcontractors for a price and collects what comes back, so you can compare them side by side.
- PayperWhale works out what each line costs you, adds your markup, and shows you the selling price and the margin before you commit to either.
- You send it. The customer gets a PDF on your letterhead and a link.
- They accept or decline — or they phone you, and you record it yourself.
- Won work becomes jobs: a work ticket for the floor, and an order to every subcontractor doing part of it.
- Delivered work becomes an invoice, in its own unbroken number sequence.

A flat list of lines, each priced from what it actually takes to make. Alternatives are separate quotes rather than a matrix nobody can read across.
Build it once
An assembly is a product, a service or a rate — parts, operations and the lot — saved in your library and reused. Change a cost and every quote still open follows it.
Work you send out
Ask several subcontractors for the same price and compare what comes back. A price carries where it came from, so an assumed number is never mistaken for a quoted one.

Invoicing
Invoice a delivery at the price the job was won at — no retyping, no spreadsheet. Several jobs go on one invoice when they went out together.

- Machine-level production tracking. No shop-floor capture, no time recorded against a press.
- Scheduling. No Gantt, no planning board, no shift roster.
- Bookkeeping. No ledger, no statements, no ageing, no credit control — PayperWhale raises the invoice and lets you tick that it was paid. Your books stay where they are.
- Artwork management. Attach the finished files for your records; PayperWhale does not proof them, version them, or decide which one a job prints.
